Please join us on Tuesday, June 7, in the Heritage Room at BridgePort BrewPub as we welcome Leslie To, Director of SEO at 3Q Digital, who will be presenting "Cutting Through the Clutter: Leveraging Analytics to Drive Your SEO Strategy & Optimizations ".
Best practices aside, nothing should drive on-site strategy more than your own data. As a robust Analytics platform, Google Analytics can often create more problems than it solves. Learning how to leverage the platforms strengths can mean the difference between clutter & clarity.
Using Analytics, we'll seek to identify specific strategies that simply don't work, high value customer segments, ways in which other channels can be leveraged to make the overall business grow, and if/how to address expectation gaps on your site.
- There are limits to what standard reporting can provide so building custom reports allows you to curate data that matters
- By focusing on key performance indicators and accounting for incrementality, we get past the all the noise & identify what's working and what's not
- Careful segmentation of your data set allows you to see performance trends and more importantly identify optimization opportunities.
- Using your own data to make informed optimizations is the core of performance marketing and SEO optimizations and strategies should be treated no differently.
Leslie To, Director of SEO at 3Q Digital, loves digging into SEO & Analytics almost as much as she loves her cat and books. Jokes and sarcasm aside, Leslie started her career at 3Q Digital in 2011 and became a channel leader thanks to her acumen in analytics, technical know-how, and voracious research. In addition to dabbling in team management, client services, and yelling at Tableau when it refuses to work, she still holds onto (quite strongly) the record for highest score on the company's Analytics certification exam.
